King’s Park Moving Together (KPMT), a community project funded by Sport England, encourages physical activity among residents of the Kings Park ward of Hackney (including Kingsmead and Clapton Park Estates). The project promotes health and wellbeing through physical activity and community connection, aiming to create lasting change for individuals and the community. By working with the community, KPMT explores opportunities to integrate physical activity into everyday life, fostering long-term benefits for all.

Hackney Design Studio were asked to work with multiple stakeholders and residents to create a relevant and meaningful brand, assets and set of guidelines for the programme.

The project's primary goal is to enhance the lives of King's Park Ward residents, particularly those in the Clapton and Kingsmead Estates, by encouraging social interaction, physical activity, and enjoyment. To foster a sense of ownership and involvement, the local community was actively engaged in the project's development. Focus groups with residents and community organisations led to the selection of "Moving Together" as the project's name.
The logo design, featuring interconnected Os, symbolises unity and community, and the chosen colors are vibrant yet tasteful. The Frutiger font, a modern sans serif typeface, complements the overall aesthetic. Images of the community were incorporated to ensure inclusivity. The team produced brand guidelines, which include print and social media templates and assets to help partners create their own branded content.
