Hackney Council and the City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) joined forces to raise awareness of the often-overlooked reality of rare and uncommon cancers within the local community. These diseases, while individually affecting a smaller number of people compared to more prevalent cancers, collectively impact the lives of many residents across the borough every day.

This collaborative effort aims to raise crucial awareness about these less-discussed cancers, ensuring that individuals affected by them feel seen, supported, and empowered to seek timely diagnosis and access appropriate care. This video aims to help our community better understand the many different types of cancer and to encourage a more inclusive and supportive space for all those impacted.
