At the start of a political cycle, all parties consult with residents and businesses to shape their manifesto promises. These promises are grouped into strategic priorities which will be delivered over the four year political cycle. The themes help staff understand how their individual roles contribute to their team, service area, directorate and ultimately the Mayor’s manifesto commitments. At the same time it provides residents and businesses the information as to what they can expect from the Council as well.
